So why do I write here again, after all these months? Because I’m having one of those moods. Somebody told me that unhappy people will, in the long run, be unhappy. Happy things may happen, and occasionally they may turn happy, but in the long run they will return to some sort of unhappy equilibrium.

And I suppose there is some truth in that.

Will you believe me if I said that the last two years were the best and most eventful years of my life, academically, and possibly, in other areas too? And will you believe me if I said that I’m so glad I shared part of it with this group of people?

Maybe not.

Everybody has a right to be sentimental, and I, believe it or not, am a person too. I’d like to say ‘thank you’, even though you might’ve been looking for ‘sorry’.

In my ideal world, reality would correspond to my will. I’m still getting used to the idea that I can’t get my way all the time. The reality is most of the time, almost all the time, reality will not be how I’d like it to be. As a kid I was a loser, and a very bad loser. Despite my years of experience I doubt I’ve improved too much.

Life has been relatively kind to me of late. I’m out of places where I don’t want to be and going to places I want to go to – I suppose I can’t ask for much more. You can’t have everything – most people have very few things.

I can tell you my love for you will still be strong, even though the boys of summer have gone.

blee!! hahaha very randomly (and oddly so...) i squashed an ant with an ice cube just two nights ago! :P hahaa see i was actually wondering if it would freeze to death or otherwise activate some inbuilt defense mechanism to play dead or something geez so i lightly dropped the block of ice over it and waited for like a good two minutes..
and guess what! when i lifted the iceblock there were like pieces of black bits here and there so i figured i might have squashed it and broken it up in the process... BUT then of course, i saw the body of the ant intact as it was (or at least as i think it was..) only brown now and evidently skinnier.
so i figured, we freeze and they shed their outer layers. cool eh :P
